White Elegance

White is such an easy colour to wear and something that never goes out of fashion. Whether it is a top, dress or jeans, you will always need some white in your wardrobe. And it isn't just for spring/summer, you can wear it all year round.
To give you some style inspiration, we're going to take a look at some of our SS17 collection and give you some guidance on what to wear it with.

Petronella Top
Our Petronella Top is a must have! You can wear it throughout the year and it is comfortable yet stylish and glamorous. Wear with a pair of blue or black jeans and add some heels or flats depending on the occasion - this will finish the look off perfectly. The ruffle detail on the top gives that extra bit of detail and is a trend that is really hot this year.

Eloisa Dress
An off-white dress with lace detail sleeves is something that we all need in our summer wardrobes. This piece can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion - wear with heels for a more dressed up look, or add sandals for a casual feel. Minimal accessories are needed with this dress as there are many details already on it.

Nerina Dress
We all have a little black dress that we go to when we're in need of something to wear - but do you have a little white dress? Well, we have it for you! Our lace Nerina dress is what you need for any occasion, whether it be a summer BBQ or a night out in town with your friends. Again, dress this piece up or down with a pair of heels or sandals.

Check out our full White Elegance pieces on our website, caviarstatus.com, and keep your eyes peeled for more to be added from our AW17 collection!

Kate's European Tour Fashion Diary

We've all seen it in the headlines that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently on a 5 day tour of Poland and Germany which started out in Warsaw with their two children, George and Charlotte. One of the main headlines has been about the speculation of the Royal couple having a third child after Kate mentioned it in one of her speeches on the tour.

Now, we all now, Kate is renowned for her stunning sense of style, and she never gets it wrong! So we thought we'd take a look at her looks throughout her time in Europe.

Outfit 1
Kate arrived in Poland wearing a white Alexander McQueen suit. A blazer and skirt combination never fails to impress, specially when it's worn by Kate! Belted by the waist, she wore a pair of suede nude heels which perfected the look. She also added a matching necklace and earrings with a red stone which we can only imagine is ruby!

Outfit 2
Later that same day, Kate changed her look for a more of an evening do. She opted for a white satin knee length dress with black trim. She cinched the dress at the waist with a black floral belt and added a pair of black heels to the look. The look wasn't complete there as she then went on to add a pearl necklace and earrings combination.

Outfit 3
On the second day of the Royal visit, Kate and Will went to Gdansk, Poland where they visited Stutthof Concentration Camp. For this trip, Kate went for a floral Erdem co-ord. An A-lined skirt and jacket, she looked very elegant and sophisticated for her emotional visit. Pairing with a pair of nude heels, it finished off the look perfectly.

Outfit 4
On Wednesday morning, the Royals jumped on their plane to fly off to Berlin. Kate looked stunning in a Royal blue dress underneath a buttoned coat. She added her nude suede heels to the ensemble and wore her hair up for the travelling.

Outfit 5
On the second day of their tour, Kate opted for another colourful number and she looked stunning! She went for a bardot full length red dress. Cinched at the waist to show off her silhouette, the dress was quite float and a look that we love.

It's safe to say that Kate Middleton has looked stunning in all of her outfits throughout her time in Poland and we are sure there are a lot more stunning outfits to come whilst the Royal family are in Germany.

Valerian Premiere Red Carpet Overview

It's been a much anticipated film this year starring many famous actors and actresses, with Cara Delevingne even shaving her head for the role. And with so many famous faces in the film, it was only fitting to have as many famous faces at the premiere in Hollywood on Monday night. The red carpet sure was an A List line up, but what about their outfits? We're going to take a look at some of our favourite looks from the night!

Cara Delevingne
The supermodel turned actress opted for a see-through metallic halter-neck dress. Now this was quite fitting for the event, baring in mind that this is a sci-fi film. The full length gown showed her silhouette off perfectly. She didn't need any accessories with this dress adding only a pair of black strappy heels.

Rihanna
The singer was there to support her friend Cara and the other members of the film. She went for a completely different look to Cara however. Opting for a dusty pink silk and taffeta dress with a train, she added a pair of pink lace up heels for her red carpet appearance.

Kendall Jenner
Another friend of the model/actress who was also there to support Cara, Kendall. She went for a more relaxed look, wearing a black off the shoulder dress, she looked stunning. Wearing her brown locks curly, and a pair of black heels, she didn't add many accessories, but then she didn't really need to.

We would love to hear what your thoughts were on the outfits from the night. Comment below with your thoughts!

Miranda Kerr's Stunning Dior Wedding Gown

It took Miranda a while to announce her engagement, and it seems it's taken her even longer to announce her wedding to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. In this month US Vogue edition, Miranda has released photos of her May wedding to new beau Evan.

With only 45 people at the wedding, she said about her wedding dress 'Honestly, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress'. The Dior Haute Couture gown was designed by artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Miranda looked stunning in her custom made wedding dress, and added a veil designed by London milliner Stephen Jones. According to reports, the day started with an hour of yoga, and ended with karaoke. Her son Flynn, whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom, was said to have been ring bearer for the couple on their big day and joined in on the first dance for the newly weds.

Queen Bey's Big Reveal

As we all know, Beyoncé gave birth to twins last month and everyone was ecstatic! But Bey and Jay Z left everyone guessing about names. But they weren't just going to let the news out lightly, oh no. And as we were all waking up this morning, we got the joy of waking up to some news. Yes, finally they have revealed the names of their babies.
Beyoncé posted a picture on her Instagram account and she looked stunning! At their $400,000 a month Malibu home, she posed in the back garden wearing a blue vale and a floral wrap holding her two beauties. Jay Z was nowhere in sight in the picture however.
Everyone was over the moon to see a picture of the twins and to see what their names are. However, there is a bit of confusion. Bey and Jay have named their children Sir Carter and Rumi! Now, we're not sure if it is Sir Carter Carter or if his name is just Sir. But whatever it is, they are so cute and we're so happy for the Carter family.

Beyoncé and Jay Z are also parents to 5 year old Ivy Carter who was also nowhere to be seen in the picture.

We wish all the best to Beyoncé and Jay Z on the beautiful little arrivals!

Throwback Thursday

As it's Thursday, we thought we'd do a little throwback of some of the most famous iconic fashion moments! Let's have a look at some of our favourite moments!

Britney Spears
Britney has had a fair few fashion moments during her time in the lime light! But this has to be one of the most memorable. For her 2001 performance of 'I'm a Slave For You' at the VMA's, Britney was joined on stage by a snake...yes, a live snake! Wearing nothing but a bra top and skimpy shorts, she wrapped the reptile around her neck for the performance.

Geri Halliwell
How could we forget the days of the Spice Girls when Ginger Spice wore the Union Jack dress. This outfit has become a big iconic moment in British fashion, with many people using it as a fancy dress costume. The red platform boots make the outfit complete and to be honest, we love this look and think Geri rocked it!

Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe is a household name who everyone knows. She had many iconic fashion moments but this has to be the one that everyone remembers. This was in 1955 when Marilyn was filming for 'Seven Year Itcht' where she stood on the grilles of the New York subway in her white dress.

Jennifer Lopez
J Lo turned up to the Grammy Awards in 2000 in this little number. Now, everyone wears a plunging neckline every now and again, but this neckline went below her belly button! That's low! The Versace gown attracted a lot of attention, obviously. I mean whoever wore it would have got attention, but because it's J Lo, it attracted more.

Comment below with some of your favourite iconic fashion moments.

Wimbledon Fashion Favourites

One of the biggest sporting events over the summer is of course Wimbledon. It's on everyone's lips at the moment and the British players are actually doing really well. But we're not here to talk about the actual tennis - we're going to take a look at some of the famous faces that have attended the event and what they've worn! After all, you do go to dress to impress.

Anna Wintour
One of the biggest names in fashion, if not the biggest name in fashion, Editor of Vogue Anna Wintour, was spotted at Wimbledon on Monday. Wearing a blue floral midi dress, she looked every inch the fashionista that she is. She teamed the look with a pair of nude heels and a nude bag for her seat in the Royal Box.

Pippa Middleton
The sister of Kate Middleton, Pippa, opted for two piece for her first visit to Wimbledon this year. She looked stunning at the sporting event keeping her look elegant and sophisticated. The pink skirt and top combination was perfect for her day out. She added a pair of nude heels and a nude clutch bag to complete her look.

Melanie Sykes
The TV personality went for a short blue strappy dress for her day at Wimbledon. The ruffles gave it that extra summary feel and she looked stylish and elegant for the tournament. Adding a beige bag and sunglasses, she kept her accessories minimal.

So far, these have been some of our favourite looks for Wimbledon this year, but there's still some time left at the tournament. So I'm sure there'll be many more faces that we see and some more stunning outfits. Comment below with what your favourite looks have been so far at this year's Wimbledon.

Chanel AW17 Show

On Tuesday, Chanel showcased their AW17 Haute Couture show and they didn't do it lightly! Karl Lagerfeld replicated a mini Eiffel Tower in order to display the new collection in Paris. The models wore heavy, dark eyeshadow with their hair twisted and tied at the back. The collection itself provided bold prints and strong shapes. One of the main talking points of the show was the Chanel wedding dress - it's not something that you'd call traditional lets say!

It's not something we would choose for our own big day, but you can't help but love it!

Some of our other favourite looks were:

But, it wasn't just about the collection - it was also about the attendees. There were many famous faces at show, but being Chanel, would you expect anything less?! Cara Delevingne, Katy Perry and Kristen Stewart all had invitations to the catwalk event and of course, all turned up wearing Chanel.

We would love to hear from you - comment below with your favourite looks from the show!

Wimbledon Picks

To mark the start of Wimbledon 2017 yesterday, we're going to give you some style inspiration for the event! Whether you're attending or not, it's always nice to get some fashion inspo for other summer events in your calender.
Let's serve (see what I did there) you up some of our Wimbledon picks!

Luciana Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and look you're going for. Add a pair of strappy heels like we have done here for a dressed up look, or wear a pair of sandal for that casual feel.

Elettra Suit
Our tweed suit is perfect for this type of event. If you're looking for an elegant and glamorous outfit, then this suit is for you! Wear with a cream blouse and strappy heels to complete the look. The skirt and jacket can also be worn separately, but we advise that they are worn together.

Nerina Dress
The Nerina dress can be worn to any event in your summer calender and is the perfect piece for Wimbledon. We love the timelessness of this feminine floral piece. Add a pair of nude strappy heels for that elegant finish.

We would love to see your looks from Wimbledon so comment below!
