Instagram's of the week

It's that time again when I show you my favourite Instagram posts for the past week. This weeks been a busy one. Without further ado, I'll get started on some of the most talked about this week.

This post by Amanda Holden sure got members of the public talking. Amanda wore this Julien Macdonald gown on last nights Britain's Got Talent. Ofcom, the British Television regulatory authority company, received 216 complaints over the £11,250 dress with some viewers complaining that they thought it to be inappropriate to wear before the watershed. The 46 year old TV personality then posted this snap on Instagram and, as you can imagine, a whole host of both supportive an objective comments came flooding in.

Another Instagram revolving around the world of fashion is one Olivia Buckland, a former contestant on Love Island, posted. She launched a swimwear collection with online fashion retailer Miss Pap. The range features a wide variety of swimsuits, bikinis, kaftans and sunglasses. Her launch party was last night and she posted a collection of instagram stories and snapchats of her and boyfriend Alex Bowen celebrating at her party.

We love the sassy-ness of Sofia Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie, in this post. She is really appealing to our sarcastic side. Sofia is wearing a PJ style shirt, which is SO in fashion right now, as are baker-boy style hats. You go girl.

Now, on a more somber note, I had to put in this Instagram. I think sometimes it is important that when we write these blog posts, we focus not only on fashion and happiness but also on the bigger picture. I'm sure you are all aware of the tragic incident that occurred on the 22nd May after an Ariana Grande concert. The unity of the public, not only in the UK, but worldwide has been amazing to witness. People all around the world have been donating and sending their well-wishes and condolences to those affected by the suicide bomb. In support of the attack Ariana and celebrities all over have come together to perform a concert in Manchester, with 100% of the proceeds going to the victims and families of the attack. This is by far the most important Instagram of the week and we hope that it brings a somewhat comfort to all those impacted.
